Who We Are
At AFA Private Wealth we love educating clients on wealth creation strategies which help them to achieve financial freedom.
We have been working as partners in our accounting practice since 2004. We originally advised our clients in the areas of accounting, taxation and structuring to protect assets and assist in the areas of wealth creation.
One of the things we discovered while advising clients and small business people on how to manage their business affairs, was that what we both really loved to do was to educate people to initially identify their dreams then follow those dreams and fulfill their passion.
We discovered a high level of energy surrounding people who were empowered by listening to the singing of their hearts.
We do things very differently. Here’s how:
We are accountants but we discovered early on that people are more than just their finances. They are holistic beings and all parts of them need to be involved in their wealth planning. Our consulting style is very unique; we energize people to enable them to focus on their passion, knowing that “where focus goes energy flows and result show.”
Over the years, we have presented at, supported and mentored many people at seminars, via emails and personal consulting. Gradually it dawned on us that there were many “seminar junkies” (with respect) – those people who continually attended seminar after seminar, coaching after coaching but didn’t seem to be able to implement what they had learnt. We pondered on this issue for a while, trying to work out what the common denominator was.
These people were all intelligent people wanting to get ahead, willing to learn all they could to improve their own situation. They read as many books as they could, attended many seminars, but just not able to get it happening. We have determined that the financial blueprint of an individual, their mindset was what seemed to be holding them back or stopping them achieving what they wanted to achieve.
We discussed this issue with Hans Jacobi, a well recognized property educator, while filming a segment for his DVD series prior to attending “Dinner with Hans”. The three of us pondered on this issue during filming and again determined the answer rests in the “mind set” of the people. Click to receive a free transcript of the Hans Jakobi Interview.
We have each been on a personal journey of self development and had been drawn to investigate the area of mindset. A number of years ago “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki was the book to start thinking about how wealthy people think differently. Why is that so? We ponder the question in the Millionaire Mindset
